18 Jul writing break
Beautiful sunshine.
It is lovely to open up my house and let the sunlight in.
I am sorting through papers and documents to clear the clutter from the last disruption when the floorboards were laid. It was nice to leave things packed up for so long – it makes me realise how little I need those things (and the things that I noticed missing).
It is the kind of day that would be best spent riding bikes through vineyards and sipping on wine under pergolas in the countryside.
The kind of day that reminds me of long lunches in Europe.
I am writing to take a break from the neatening and sorting. I should really stack my dishwasher so that it can run while the sun is out.
Break!!
Now the front half of my house is squeaky clean, apart from one more basket of clutter to sort through.
And I am considering the benefits of a beer on top of my fragile soul that didn’t get very much sleep.
