The planes going overhead don’t sound as exciting here. Every place has its own brand of plane sounds. In Merimbula they were some of my favourite sounds, so lighthearted and whimsical. . . so much joy in the little planes flying overhead. In Sydney, they are bigger than life itself. So exciting. .. the rush, of a huge plane flying overhead. . . I haven’t really come to appreciate the planes as they go over my home in Melbourne. When I am psychotic, I think it means that I need to GO SOMEWHERE. . .but when things are all the same, , , it feels like, , , a plane. . not beautiful, not exciting, just a plane.
