Walking through the bush in good company

I have spent time in the Australian bush three times this week, and am likely to visit again on the weekend.

My elderly client is the best company. I had to drag my arse to work today, and as soon as I saw her face everything was okay. We had another fun adventure. Walking through the bush, talking and then sipping on a delightful iced coffee. (And laughing our arses off). She is one of my favourite people in the world. . . Elderly people are so precious. Ms Herbert especially. As an artist by profession she is so observant, so she encourages the practice of engaging with our environment on such a deep and curious level.

Our time together reminds me of some of the times I have spent with my mother in Canberra or Melbourne, or some place where we are focused on leisure, not work. The connection feels so warm, and our laughter feels so easy.

Lucky!!
