Sunday eats – Preston – Asian delicacies

I am coming around to the qualities of Preston. If you like Asian cuisine, it is a wonderful place to satisfy the tastebuds. I am excited about the food here.

Today I went to Chumanchu and ate the most creative and exquisite Asian omelette I have ever tasted. It was superb. And Preston is a big suburb, so I did drive there (on the way back to Collingwood), but I could have walked there in 38 minutes. (A bit more than an average Sunday stroll perhaps, but how many steps would it have taken!!??)

Tonight I stepped out onto High Street in search of dinner. I still felt quite full from the omelette, so opted for a Vietnamese soup for dinner, but I could have got away with a protein shake at home. It was just fun to go out and see the vibrancy of High Street at dinner time.

After the energy of the market the queues out the doors to the restaurants here are very impressive. I feel sure that I would still use my car more, but my current location allows me to experience Preston from the point of view of it being very walkable. Which is very nice!

It is nudging itself into my favour!
