21 Aug Demolition – day 2
I am missing the cats. I guess that means that they are good company, right?
This evening I am sitting amongst the chaos waiting for my Dad to do some office work before we head out to have some ramen for dinner.
Then I was answering questions from Airtasker hopefuls. The story is that when IKEA didn’t deliver my order on Tuesday afternoon, it just kind of fell off the planet, and if I had not got in touch with them today to ask where it was, it would have disappeared completely!?
They were going to deliver on Sunday, but that was just up to shit! Then I had the idea that maybe we could pick it up. So, we will pick it up tomorrow. As Mum said – there is always something that goes awry with these construction projects.
The demolition is nearly complete. (this photo is more like it!!) Just the tiles on the back wall of the kitchen and some cleaning up of the surfaces. My Dad is even dreaming of ripping up the carpet 😮
I am tired from all the exercise, and I have a shift starting at 7:15 am tomorrow 😮 Big YAWN!!
It is so nice to hang out with my Dad. I am enjoying it immensely.
