22 Mar First hot air balloon ride
We were expecting a bit of an adrenaline rush, but the hot air balloon was calm and peaceful.
It was a beautiful way to see the sunrise. And, after we got up into the air, there was a sheet of mist covering the valley. I actually have no idea how we got down again, when the pilot couldn’t see the landing place, but I guess these are the wonders of GPS.
Perhaps it is more the flavour and seasoning of the emotional quality of the rest of the day having seen first light from 3500 feet.
It was lovely to be there, surrounded by bushland, farmland and wineries. It is probably not something that I would rush to spend another $500 on, but it was a pleasant experience.
