The NGV was packed today. And we were there at their earliest convenience. Yayoi Kasuma is very popular!
It is fun. Quirky and interesting. A great curated story of a very interesting life. A prolific artist with a history of mental illness.
The infinity rooms were awesome. The trick of mirrors and inflated sculptures to make rooms look like they never ended.
Humans symbolised by dots on artwork, the billions of people on our planet, and the infinite nature of our souls.
And pumpkins. Yayoi said that pumpkins are her purpose in life. It was interesting and amusing.
