Beautiful bongo drums on this cute spontaneous outing to Brunswick St tonight.
I felt like putting on something cute and heading out for dessert.
Twisted is temporarily closed unfortunately. I think it might be staffing issues. So I came to Girls And Boys. Just next door is a wonderful concert of African music. It reminds me of nusrat fateh ali khan. All drums and a mandolin perhaps and a soul searching voice. Just lovely.
I went to investigate, and the warmth of the music drew me into the bar. I stood on the precipice and let my soul soak up the sounds which I think would have been comfort for my heart tonight. A man looked at me invitingly, and I turned and walked out of the bar. 😛
There was a Lime bike just up the street to my home, so I pedalled home. I am so exhausted now. My senses were so alive tonight. But I am tired from all the emotion.
