We went to Banksia for dinner tonight. It was lovely. An incredible experience in three courses with paired wines.

The wine was so sensational. Renee is a sommelier and her wine choices are always so on point.

I struggled with the volume of food. Three courses of decadent flavours is quite a lot. And it left me feeling pretty uncomfortable. Huw’s food is incredible. He is so talented. There was just too much of it, or it was too much richness for my constitution.

It was such a lovely evening, nonetheless. You can sit outside on the verandah at Banksia, and in the summer, surrounded by kangaroo paw, with my dear parents it was a lovely vibe.
