26 May House party
A house party in Northcote was just what I needed last night. I had been dreading going because I haven’t been out with friends all that much over these past few months, but it was fun and relaxing and felt like a great beginning to another chapter in my social life.
We started the evening with an espresso martini and then moved to the balcony rooftop to chat and listen to music with a view of the city to the south.
There were some nice people there. I enjoyed their company very much. I met someone who is a few steps ahead of me in the support work field, a very funny tradie who has a refreshing outlook on life, and a dog with a Mexican hat.
It was a fun night, well spent. Triple J’s House Party soundtracked my trip home. And I felt rejuvenated in only the way that talking to inspiring people can.
I hope my friend will love her new home (and sell her old one real quick!)
