My votes are in.
In the end, I decided to vote strategically. I removed anything from my list that wasn’t likely to get into the countdown and added a few recent favourites to the bottom of my list. I do have some voting regret, but any the hoo, it is done!
I have been feeling like I am ready to move on from 2023 now. And finalising votes for the Hottest 100 is a good way to draw a line under it.
Looking forward to listening on the day. They are playing the countdown on Saturday, Jan 27th, 2024.

Voting regret affects lots of us, especially when we hear the alternatives played out! I feel like I will be happy if I hear anything from my Hottest 100 playlist on Saturday week. And I will be adding all the new music that I love from the countdown to my playlist too.
It is the world’s biggest music-voting democracy. And I am so excited to be a part of it!
