How amazing was the Hottest 100 yesterday? Did you listen to it?
I started to listen at around number 67 – which I think was Flight Facilities – Need You {Ft. NIKA}. Actually that was number 66, sorry – my mistake.

The highlights of the countdown for me were:
63 – BOOGIE – BROCKHAMPTON
62 – Killing My Time – G Flip
58 – Soaked – Bene
46 – You should see me in a crown – Billie Eilish
44 – Clark Griswold {Ft. Adrian Eagle} – Hilltop Hoods
33 – Better Now – Post Malone
24 – Leave Me Lonely – Hilltop Hoods
23 – Treat You Better – RUFUS DU SOL
7 – Groceries – MALLRAT
4 – This is America – Childish Gambino

It is funny, because that was what my top 10 looked like AFTER the countdown. Only OnE of the songs I voted for got into the countdown. And that was LEave me Lonely by Hilltop Hoods!

Great places to find new music!

As I found most of my music through Spotify this year and other offline places, it is understandable that the songs which I loved were not those favoured by the majority of the Triple J audience. I still think that the radio is a great way to find new music and I hope to listen more this year.

Excitingly, Double J are playing the Hottest 100 from 1998 today from 12 pm. I am excited about THAT!! 🙂
