29 Jul The warmth of red wine and friendship
It was a bit of a new experience to go shopping with a friend. It is so interesting how conversation flows in completely different ways with the stimulation of browsing lovely things. It was quite a novel experience.
To add to this, is that amazing warmth that grows between two people who are drinking red wine on a cosy winter’s Saturday evening. There is something so lovely, about the increased intimacy, the opening up of my soul and letting my friend in, just a little bit more.
It really was a lovely, lovely evening. The roast that we had at a backstreet pub in Fitzroy was a bit heavy, but after a walk and a spicy chai, our evening was complete.
