03 Jun A Sunday journey through music
There is a certain type of music that can have the effect of pouring effervescent soda over a fragile soul. Every album brings me a little closer to balance. It is a process of strengthening and soothing.
My adventure started with electronic pop, disco and house. A lovely compilation from Eskimo Music. This feels like the best music for when you have been going hard for days, and when you are dancing on the edge. It soaks into my soul like warm honey.
My journey since, has meandered through some beautiful atmospheres, such as Decoder Ring, Woodkid and then a reggae vibe from Michael Franti and Spearhead. Now Thando.
It is amazing how music can nourish and strengthen the soul. Bliss.

What is your favourite song on the album?
The two stand outs for me are Akya by Rey and Kjavic and The Beekeeper by Horixon, Birsen and Atella.
Never Enough by Satin Jackets and Niya Wells also stood out to me on this listen.
Thanks for reminding me of this today!! 🙂
