Pretty funny. It was great to go and see Gillian Cosgriff play in the beautiful Melbourne Town Hall. It would have been nice if we were able to take in a drink to see the show, but hey, it was tight arse Tuesday and tickets were nearly half the normal price.

Part of the show was the process of writing a song based on input from an audience member. Our audience was absolutely flabbergasted as someone piped up to say that she collects her friend’s hair and teeth. The most hilarious conversation ensued, as Gillian drew out more and more information about this interesting hobby, and then wrote a song about it. Pretty amazing.

Her music reminded me a lot of the Whitlams. It was definitely rich and witty.
