I am reading a very interesting book – Dear Mr Knightley, about a woman who is studying journalism and writing letters to an anonymous man, in return for him funding her education.

She writes to him and purges her soul, the difference being, that he responds to her words, if not in letters, then in protective and helpful gestures.

Her story reminds me of my own, with regard to the letters, the thrill of succeeding in her career, and the fact that she hasn’t found her voice and isn’t ready to sleep with her boyfriend.

It definitely makes me think more deeply about this situation with Turtle. That is going absolutely nowhere.
