02 Jun Interesting cultural experiences in the city I love – Jambo
I feel utterly humbled by my evening in a cultural melting pot. We went to a few different bars in Footscray and ended at Jambo, an Ethiopian restaurant.
What an amazing experience! Such honest and tasty food that we shared, as is customary and ate with our fingers. The plate was made out of bread and we had an amazing vegetarian dises with Ethiopian spices.
I couldn’t get over how friendly and how hospitable they were. It was an intensely rich cultural experience. I wish that I could live for hundreds of years and learn the Ethiopian language and culture. It is so rich.
I feel very humbled and blessed to have experienced it with my friends. 🙂
