Margaret Atwood – The Heart Goes Last

Margaret Atwood – The Heart Goes Last

Margaret Atwood is certainly an amazing story teller. I still have one episode left of the Handmaid’s Tale, and that was fascinating. Dark, interesting, scary.

The other day I found another one of her books in my library’s ebook collection. The Heart Goes Last. It is another one of those dystopian stories that makes me feel scared and uncomfortable for hours after I read another one of the sick story lines.

It is incredibly good plot development though. The twists and turns are constantly surprising. She is a very interesting author.

This dystopian genre of literary fiction and theatre is a big thing in 2017. It is a rich topic for exploration. Much like it was earlier in the 20th Century, and much of that dystopian literature turned out to be bordering on reality in this day and age.

Fascinating!
